Woof!
My name is Sadie. I'm a one-year old rescue rat terrier who wants to welcome you to the blogsite of the Tipps Canine Hollow Park Pals! (TCHPP) We're a pack of dogs whose humans love us very much and have recently come together to form a nonprofit organization dedicated to the progress and promotion of the Tipps Canine Hollow Park in North Richland Hills, Texas. (I am a very articulate dog, as you can tell). So far, our humans have held three meetings at the NRH Parks & Recreation Department, where they have elected officers, chatted about fundraising possibilities and considered a lighting proposal.
The park itself is located at 7804 Davis Blvd and has separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. You can find me in the small dog section, where my bipedal mom and dad enjoy visiting a couple of times a week, along with my rat terrier brother, Sampson, and my shih tzu brother, Paco. We'd love to meet your dogs! There's water stations, plenty of open space for us to romp, shady areas for our humans to relax and....ahem....doggy-doo dispensers for when we decide to "do our bidness." Oh, the TCHPP organization also has a WEBSITE, where you can get on the Park Pals mailing list and participate in message boards (I prefer to communicate by yipping).
This "dog blog" will be pretty casual. Since it's hard to type with paws, my human will take over from now on. He says he would like to include photos, canine profiles, stories, jokes, training tips and information about park events. The next post will feature the bios of the Park Pal officers.
Gotta go. I want to play ball with my human. He's watching TV but I'll cock my head sideways and stare at him sweetly until he breaks down. Works every time.
You humans are so easy.
